Apple news spoof

I like the new site scoopertino.com/ it is a spoof Apple news website.

My personal favourite is the new iMac Classic, eg New Coke was a diaster, so go back to basics; like 40meg Hard drive, and Mac OS 3, brilliant!

New blog kevgordon.blogspot.com

I have a subtle plan to separate my blog (tech interest) with my personal commentary.

This blog is going to contain Tech and Web stuff. For more personal shenanigans check out kevgordon.blogspot.com, which goes with @k_guk Twitter account, and this blog goes with @kevswebuk Twitter account.

Eye-Fi Wireless SD Memory Card

The Eye-Fi wireless SD Memory card for your camera sounds cool. It allows you to wireless transfer your photos to your computer or a photo sharing service.

Only it doesn't work with wireless hotspots apparently :-( You also need to turn off power saving, plus you have to leave the camera turned on for a while to let the photos upload.

What would be awesome if it worked on wireless hotspots or 3G. Then you immediately tweet your pics, or bookface them.

Fatwire tip - multiple approvals

A way to quickly approve multiple assets rather than approving each individually is by using a recommendation. This was tested in CS 6.3.

Create a recommendation, and add all the assets you want to publish. Now approve the recommendation, and you will be prompted with a screen that will allow you to select all the assets for approval.

This way approving 200 assets is a sinch.

Smash my smartphone

Coming home from London. Some geezer is really loud and drunk and is talking extremely loud. He exclaims; "I hate these touch screen phones. These smart phones are far from smart. I'm gonna smash it on the floor in a minute. Look I've got a call and it won't let me answer it."

Aside from his obnoxiousness, I agree in a way. I have had 3 separate occasions when my iPhone hasn't let me answer a call. I wish there was a physical button for that.
