Eye-Fi Wireless SD Memory Card

The Eye-Fi wireless SD Memory card for your camera sounds cool. It allows you to wireless transfer your photos to your computer or a photo sharing service.



Only it doesn't work with wireless hotspots apparently :-( You also need to turn off power saving, plus you have to leave the camera turned on for a while to let the photos upload.

What would be awesome if it worked on wireless hotspots or 3G. Then you immediately tweet your pics, or bookface them.

    Kev, if you use a Novatel MiFi or similar portable hotspot device, then you can have the instant sharing feature. The Eye-Fi card connects to this device over Wi-Fi and the device is on the 3G network to share your photos.
